Satisnet Joins The Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA)

London, UK – 26th August 2021 – Satisnet are proud to announce their induction as a member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA).

What is MISA?

Launched in 2018, MISA is an ecosystem of independent software vendors (ISV) and managed security service providers (MSSP) that have integrated their security products and services with Microsoft’s to better defend against a world of increasing threats. MISA members are top experts from across the cyber security industry with a shared goal of improving customer security.

“The new distributed remote working paradigm which organisations have adopted has significantly challenged how cyber security professionals defend and proactively threat hunt against malicious threats," explains John McCann, Managing Director of Satisnet, one of the UK’s most established MSSPs. “As our MISA membership verifies, we help our clients to proactively secure this enlarged attack surface with its additional security telemetry, adding automation and artificial intelligence. This, combined with our in-house skilled technical resource, scales to counter the increased threats. We also enhance Azure Sentinel’s incident response and threat modelling capabilities using a network detection and response (NDR) platform, as well as an advanced automated threat intelligence platform.”

Mandana Javaheri, Director of Business Strategy, Microsoft Security Partner Development stated: “I am pleased to have Satisnet join us as a partner in the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA). By including our strategic Managed Security Services Providers (MSSPs) in MISA, we help enable further collaboration between cybersecurity industry leaders in protecting and supporting our joint customers.”

Satisnet and MISA

As a managed security service provider, MISA membership solidifies Satisnet’s commitment to tackling the modern-day cyber security threat landscape. Bringing innovative new services to market, our MISA qualifying managed services includes: Azure Sentinel SOC Service, Azure Sentinel PoV Automator and Price Calculator, as well as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint EDR Service – Satisnet offer in-house SOC expertise built on the foundation of Microsoft’s cyber security function.

The MISA membership means that more organisations will have the means and confidence to access Satisnet’s service portfolio, with access to premier Microsoft resources and capabilities. With the MISA opportunity, Satisnet will be at the forefront of the cyber security service industry, and will enable customers to tackle and defend against the most vigorous and sophisticated cyber threats.

Rick Steele, Senior Account Manager at Satisnet, noted: Our clients have known for almost 20 years how we help them make the most of their security tooling. Microsoft agree with them and have asked us to join MISA!”
