Tenable.io Named Best Vulnerability Management Solution

Tenable, the cyber exposure company, announced Tenable.io was named the winner of the SC Awards Europe Best Vulnerability Management Solution category.

The enterprise is rapidly evolving as organisations embrace digital transformation. Against this expanded attack surface, organisations struggle with vulnerability overload and the inability to identify today’s most business-critical issues before they become tomorrow’s compromises.

Tenable.io was designed to address this challenge. Powered by Nessus technology and managed in the cloud, it automatically detects every asset across the entire computing environment, and assesses them for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, providing a comprehensive, risk-based view of an organisation’s security posture. Using machine learning algorithms, it re-prioritises vulnerabilities based on the likelihood they will be exploited, enabling organisations to zero in on those vulnerabilities that pose the greatest business risk.

“The cybersecurity landscape has never been so complex. Knowing where you’re exposed and to what extent is absolutely critical yet increasingly difficult to achieve across IT, operational technology, cloud, containers and more,” said David Cummins, Vice President of EMEA, Tenable. “With Tenable.io, we’re arming security teams with risk-based insights to understand and ultimately reduce this exposure as quickly and efficiently as possible. We’re thankful to the SC Awards Europe for this exciting recognition of our efforts.”

SC Awards Europe recognise and reward the people, products and services that exemplify the very best solutions for client-customers and the security sector as a whole. Its judging panel of industry leaders review all entries to identify trailblazers and innovators that are making an impact in the industry, demonstrating that they are at the top of their game, each adding value to the very core of Europe's cyber security defence.
